About Me

I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Purdue University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Indiana University. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor. I practice in both California and Indiana via Telehealth.

I am an EMDRIA Approved Consultant and a Certified EMDR Therapist. I have also had extensive training in Ego State Therapy and Hypnosis and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

In totality, these credentials and trainings mean that I am a mental health and substance use disorder specialist and professional. They mean I am qualified to treat everything from a situational issue to a major mental illness, a substance use disorder, anything along the trauma spectrum of disorders and a relationship problem or all of them combined,

I have experience as a forensic specialist with a history of being a death penalty mitigator, an expert witness and treating those both incarcerated and those on probation.

I carry a full caseload in private practice. I am a Treating Clinician for national sports leagues and I teach as Adjunct Faculty for graduate level students online.

I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the International Society for the Study of Trauma.
